Patrick J. Wolf is an American business strategist, policy researcher, and civic leader advancing American manufacturing, energy, artificial intelligence, and national competitiveness through research, industry leadership, and public service.

Leadership Roles

Wolf is the founder of Idaho Leaders, a nonpartisan Idaho nonprofit that prepares capable Idahoans for greater responsibility through mentorship, practical leadership development, recognition, and opportunities to serve.

He serves as Executive Director of the Institute for American Manufacturing & Technology, a national policy and research organization dedicated to restoring and strengthening the industrial foundations of the United States, with research divisions focused on artificial intelligence, energy, and manufacturing.

He also serves as Senior Advisor to the American Founders Institute, a research and publications organization focused on policy analysis and institutional leadership.

Policy & Research Focus

Wolf’s work examines how institutional decisions, technological change, and economic policy shape national competitiveness. Key research areas include manufacturing competitiveness and supply chains, energy security, AI governance and compute infrastructure, defense industrial base capacity, and policy frameworks for American industrial renewal.

Background & Education

Wolf holds a PhD in Strategic Media and Communications from Liberty University, an MBA from Louisiana State University Shreveport, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. His professional experience spans enterprise strategy, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
